Vertical Summit

The Upper Columbia conference welcomed David Jameson as president this year. In turn He welcomed God into his new position by having us all humble ourselves and pray, 40 days as a conference. We came together to ask God what He would have us do for the times we are living in. A hundred members from districts in the conference were chosen. Four of which were from our home church!

The summit began by unloading our bags into our cabins for the weekend we got to share rooms/ bunks with different members from our conference! It was amazing to share testimonies and just see from where people drove in from. It followed dinner which led into Friday sundown vespers. Sabbath and Sunday we got down to prayer and randomized breakout groups to discuss topics such as education, camp MiVoden, local churches to name a few. It was a blessing to see ages 14+ represented there. Even had a small young adult get together (not part of the plan, but I'd like to think it was God's) to find ways to bring more of them into church and keep them.  At the end of the summit, we all chose 2 from our small groups to form part of the finalizing process #TheDreamTeam
